LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
When I first became an Alderman, there were many vacant stores on Ogden and in the Depot. We have now filled them with great venues such as Olive or Twist, Chase Bank, Little Ceaser's, Tonini's Italian Market and more.
As Alderman, I value our future, which is ever more precious given the current economy. Therefore, I want to continue to apply my experience and perseverance to ensure a future for Berwyn that entails a positive and prosperous growth. Some of my current core goals for the community's future well-being include:
- Continuing to force the City to enforce the overcrowding single family issues, and Illegal Apartments
- Continuing to strive to improve and expand the Gang task force in the Police Department
- Continuing to work with MacNeal to acquire retail space on Oak Park & Windsor Corner
- Continuing to bring retail business into the 1st ward
