I have represented Berwyn's 1st Ward on the City Council since 2001. In that time, I have personified objective, professional representation, and have shown a thorough dedication to understanding the needs of my constituents, and following through to meet those needs. I am a lifelong resident of Berwyn and a dedicated wife and mother.
A SHARED COMMITMENT FROM AN EXPERIENCED ALDERMAN
As an experienced Alderman I have an important commitment to Berwyn. It is a shared commitment I want to pursue in order to continue unifying the community. In its lifetime, Berwyn has gone through a wide variety of changes that have brought many people from different walks of life to co-exist side by side. We all have different aspirations, goals, and dreams. My aspiration, as an Alderman, is to continue carrying out my commitment to residents of Berwyn and to have the many different voices be heard at City Council. People are the key to success and by working closely with residents and giving them a voice, I want to strengthen the community bonds and relationships between neighbors and businesses.
DEDICATION TO BUILD A PROSPEROUS COMMUNITY
With commitment comes dedication. As Alderman, I will continue to be heavily involved in community events and programs that are geared at establishing social bonds among neighbors, families, and friends. I will also continue to push forward programs designed to promote commercial development. Through my position at City Council, I have applied my dedication, along with other Aldermen, to achieve positive accomplishments, including: the Sedgwick Development, the Municipal Parking Lot, the Depot District Transit Oriented Study, and the Billboard Marketing program which has led to positive news coverage and publicity for Berwyn. However, I couldn't have had the opportunity to express and apply my dedication without your support. For this reason, I promise you my complete and whole-hearted fidelity.
